Brewery Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Brewery Assistant to support daily operations across multiple areas, including: brewing, packaging, stocking, deliveries, and data entry. The Brewery Assistant will work closely with the Head Brewer and General Manager to ensure product quality, great customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This position is for those aged 21+ only.

Compensation and Benefits:
$18 - $22 hourly (based on experience)

Schedule Expectations:
30 - 40 hours per week
Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on production needs
Shift lengths may vary based on production needs
Essential Duties:
Assist with brewing operations, including ingredient handling, cleaning, and general cellar work
Support packaging processes including canning, bottling, and kegging
Set up, operate, and break down production and packaging equipment
Perform cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with company standards (CIP/SIP)
Maintain Taproom stock levels
Deliver orders to distribution clients
Conduct quality checks to ensure product consistency and integrity
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Monitor equipment and report any operational, safety, or quality issues
Accurately complete production logs and documentation
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in brewing, packaging, manufacturing, or food production preferred but not required
Forklift experience is a plus (certification not required)
Passion for craft beer or beverage production is highly desirable
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–12 hours)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and manipulate full kegs (150-160 lbs) comfortably
Ability to push/pull heavy equipment (up to 800 pounds on wheels)
Drivers license and clean driving record
Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and repetitive motions
Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and moving mechanical parts
